Tech Center Speeds Development for High Performance Coatings - New lab enables focus for empirically based application engineering

Engineered coatings, special processes and component repair services for many industries on a global basis comprise the business activity of Sermatech International, based in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA Formerly a division of Teleflex, in 2005 Sermatech became an independent company in the investment portfolio of Arsenal Capital Partners Inc. The company has recently created a Science and Technology Center in nearby Limerick, Pennsylvania, and Diesel & Gas Turbine Worldwide visited the facility last month to better understand its importance. We visited there with Bruce McMordie, manager of the Science & Technology Center, and his growing staff of metallurgists, organic and inorganic chemists and technicians now numbering about twelve.
