Rice University convened its 12th annual global engineering and construction forum in mid-September. One of the featured speakers was Dr. Michael Econo-mides, a professor of chemical and bimo-lecular engineering in the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston. Dr. Economides gave an engaging presentation on how misguided policies interfere with global market and future supplies.
