Because of operational problems that can occur with premix burners and higher standards for NOx reduction, the ethylene process industry is moving towards 100 percent floor fired hearth burners and floor fired burners in combination with side wall balcony burners for ethylene cracking furnaces. More and more companies are choosing to use the CUBL, from Cailidus Technologies by Honeywell, for both new furnace construction and to retrofit existing under-performing furnaces.
