Green campaign focuses on enforcement

Increasing concerns about climate change have led experts in the horticulture industry to emphasise the importance of green space in potentially alleviating the problem of flooding. The Landscape Institute has already scheduled climate change conferences for the spring and is developing a policy on the topic to guide its members. Research from the HTA suggests that landscaped areas have been reduced by 50 per cent in new development plans compared with 10 years ago.
