At Glee last week, two companies managed to create a buzz to generate excitement above all others. They did this by having a clever sales story and by creating a touch of intrigue. Westland ran a campaign to promote its new Resolva weedkiller that didnot name the product but suggested it would be the next big thing. And this approach paid off, according to marketing manager Keith Nicholson. He said: "I believe that companies should use these events to launch products and have a little bit of mystery behind what they're doing as well.
