Utilisation of expert system at operative control of steel production and treatment in plants for continuous casting of steel

Tasks of system for support of operative control of steelworks with followingequipment for continuous steel casting aredescribed and methods of recommendation creationto operators for support for their decision-making are treated. The basis of solution isexploitation of expert system based on fuzzy sets.Selected approach is explained on example solvedon the basis of acquired operational data.
