摘要

Watermarking is a process of embedding watermark into multimedia objects such that the watermark can be detected later to make an assertion about the object. Watermarking a high quality video sequence in transformed domain requires too much computation which can not be done on a single processor at run time. To achieve a high frame processing rate, this paper presents a Spread Spectrum (SS) based blind watermarking scheme which embeds the watermark in video sequence using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) in parallel computing environment. Efficient implementation of DWT using matrix multiplication, for a single as well as multi-processor environment, is presented in this paper. Properties of Human Visual System (HVS) are exploited to embed large amount of data with higher strength in the carrier digital media.
