When asked about our trip to Europe thissummer and what it was like, I told myfriends who have not yet travelled abroad, that encountering the Mediterranean countries was much like childbirth. You just become totally immersed in the moment, the place, and that no one could really capture the essence by merely describing it in words. You simply must experience it.Going on trips for me is traveling not vacationing. My thesaurus tells me a traveler is a person on a journey, while a vacationer is a person who is accommodated and taken care of. For me, traveling is a journey of discovery and exploration.
