Nutrients either through inorganic sources or bulky organics alone do not sustain the productivity of nutrient exhaustive crops like maize. The present scenario for nutrient management is through application of improved organic sources like compost coupled with conjunctive use of inorganic fertilizers. Pimpini et al. (1991) and Madhavi et al. (1995) advocated integrated nutrient supply and man?agement for sustainable crop production. Moreover long term fertilizer trials also indicated decline in production capacity of soil under sole inorganic fertilizer use. Hence, a study on the efficacy of nutrient rich poultry waste composts and fertilizer levels on the structure of growth and yield of maize was conducted.
