摘要

Thirty seven redgram of medium duration (180 days) were raised in Randomized Block Design with two replications at National Pulses Research Centre, Vamban, Tamil Nadu during 1996-97. Each entry was sown in three rows of 4 m length adopting a spacing of 90 X 45 cm. Observations were recorded on 10 randomly selected plants for nine quantitative characters viz., 50 per cent flowering, plant height, primary branches, secondary branches, clusters/plant, pods/plant, pod length, seeds/pod and seed yield/plant. The data were analysed by Mahalonobi's D~2 statistics and genotypes were grouped into different clusters following the Tocher's method (Rao, 1952).
