U.S. Gulf Coast spot aromatics prices were mixed last week, with spot benzene prices falling about 8%, xylene prices gaining about 1% and toluene prices remaining unchanged.Spot benzene prices were around $1.18/gal, while spot xylene prices were up slightly from a week ago, to around $2.17/gal. Spot toluene prices remained unchanged at around $1.55/gal.
