Premcor Seeks Permit to Install Pollution-Controlling Equipment at Del. Refinery

Valero Energy Corp.'s Premcor is seeking a permit from Deleware's Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control to install pollution control equipment at its Delaware City refinery, according to department records. The equipment would be installed in the existing Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit, in order to reduce nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions to 20ppm by May 1, 2009.
