Lyondell and Basell Complete Merger

Lyondell Chemical Company and Basell AF announced Dec. 20 the completion of their merger into one company, LyondellBasell Industries (see OW 11/26/2007).The merger makes the company the third largest independent chemical company in the world, according to a release.
