A bone eating abdominal aortic aneurysm.

A 48-year-old male presented with lower backache for 10 months. Physical examination revealed abdominal tenderness, without any peritoneal signs. CTA of the abdomen and pelvis showed 9.8 cm x 6.7 cm x 5.2 cm pseudo-aneurysm; arising from the posterior aspect of the supra-renal abdominal aorta (A). Moreover, there was a massive erosion of the anterior aspect of T12 & LI vertebral bodies adjacent to aneurysm (B). Trie patient later had an endovascular repair and graft placement for the aneurysm.
