In some areas of the world, air conditioning is a must, a prime example being the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The problem is the drain on energy caused by cooling systems, a challenge which DESMI, a newcomer to the region, has embraced with its specialism in district cooling. Here we find how its approach, based on decades of experience, is making a real difference to costs and carbon emissions.
