The present invention relates to a resin-coated metal pigment contained in a metallic paint or the like for use in painting of a metal or a plastic. More specifically, the present invention relates to a resin-coated metal pigment having excellent paint storage stability, in particular, water resistance when being used as a waterborne paint, and exhibiting excellent chemical resistance when being formed into a film.
