In 2010,EU VOC legislation will require solventborne opaque trim paints (category d) to have less than 300 g VOC per litre,which will essentially prevent the use of conventional alkyd paints.It is argued that coatings currendy meeting 2010 VOC compliance,have sacrificed performance (eg hardness or drying times).
