摘要

Top Turkish and Lithuanian officials have been in Qatar over the past week for negotiations on LNG supplies. Qatari reports say a Turkish team led by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Energy Minister Taner Yildiz is seeking annual supplies of 2.5 billion-3 billion cubic meters (1.8 million-2 million tons) from Qatargas, but price has not been agreed. Turkey has seen a shortfall in gas supplies this year as demand has risen on colder weather and has been importing spot cargoes from Algeria, Qatar and Norway. Spot cargo delivery prices into Turkey's Marmara and Aliaga terminals have ranged from $12 to $13 per million Btu for the past three months (WGI Apr.11'12).
