Given how few international oil companies, contractors and banks will do business with Iran, it's difficult to see how local engineering firm OIEC can implement the $5.5 billion contract Iran's oil ministry recently awarded it to develop around 2 billion cubic feet per day (20.7 billion cubic meters per year) of gas and 80,000 barrels per day of condensate production from Phases 20 and 21 of the giant South Pars project.
