More than 20,500 members of the poultry and feed industries gathered at the 2012 International Poultry Expo/International Feed Expo (IPE/IFE) Jan. 24-26 in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., to see the newest processing equipment and to learn the latest about important issues that affect their business such as feed safety. This year's event, organized by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) in conjunction with the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, featured a number of educational programs and nearly 900exhibitors displaying the latest products and technologies. Delegates from more than 100 countries attended the conference, held at the Georgia World Congress Center. The annual expo is the world's largest poultry and feed industry event of its kind.
