Korea Gas (Kogas) is trying to diversify its sources of LNG and aims to take 30% — or 9 million tons per year — of it supply from Australia by 2014-15, when it expects South Korean demand to reach 30 million ton/yr, Jang Seok Hyo, executive vice president of the company's resource division, told WGI on the sidelines of the Asia Oil and Gas Conference in Kuala Lumpur this week.
