The notion that buyers might negotiate and purchase gas as a group, rather than at single company level, is gaining popularity in some quarters in Europe - but not all. Last week OMV gas head Werner Auli revealed that all six shareholders in Nabucco might band tighter to negotiate supplies. "We could join forces on the buying side to reduce complexity to make things happen," he said.
