Paris-France announced Dec. 4 that it had found a final solution for more than one million tonnes of meat and bonemeal-laced animal feed that has been accumulating since being deemed unfit for livestock consumption in 2001, because of the risk of MadCow disease. French Minister of Ecology and Sustainable Development Roselyne Bachelot presented a new government plan to incinerate the tainted animal feed during a hearing before the National Assembly, or lower house, of Parliament.
