Wessex Water has received a national award for customer service. It is the first utility and private company in the UK to be awarded the Government standard Customer Service Excellence Award. An independent assessor reported that the company was found to have, 'deep understanding and commitment to customer service,' with staff from senior management levels through to operation and front line being recognised for their professionalism.
