In electron beam heating in brazing with a defocused electron beam, local heating of a small zone of the brazed joints makes it possible to save a large amount of energy and ensure a high quality of joints. To produce simultaneously a large number of brazed joints, it is necessary to use the method of XY-scanning of the electron beam on the surface containing the brazed joint. In this case, the electron beam scans the surface of the component at a higher speed, being in fact a quasi-flat heat source and ensures the required heating of the brazed joints.
