Environmental problems and environmental damages are global problems, which can be solved by well educated engineers. Therefore the University of Stuttgart offers a course of studies in almost all Environmental Engineering relevant subjects. Protecting the environment and finding adequate solutions for environmental problems is a great challenge not only for industrial nations but also for developing countries and emerging markets. Air and water pollution, soil contamination, supply and disposal in general, energy supply and, as well as infrastructure and mobility are enormous problems that a lot of countries have to deal with.
