The award-winning superturbocharged TSI engine has proved itself to be both powerful and fuel-efficient. CONSIDERING THE increasing emphasis on the powerful and economical TDI engines as the future of high-performance motoring, the new TSI engine came as quite a surprise when it was first introduced to the press at a special technical seminar at the Ehra Lessien test track near Wolfsburg in August 2005.
