ONE OF THE main issues with the VW T5 van, as it is with most German cars, is that the standard headlights are pretty poor. Not too bad on full beam, but on a dark, wet, moonless night the standard headlights are absolutely dreadful. Fortunately, an upgrade is possible for the original pre-facelift T5 such as the 2004 (54-plate) van seen here.
