Performance and style in abundance as Volkswagen reveals a whole host of special editions and design studies at recent motor shows. FOR SOME WHILE NOW, Volkswagen has been gradually shaking off its traditional image as a purveyor of high-quality but sensible and conservative mid-range models. Over the last few years we've seen a succession of increasingly stylish high-performance concept cars and new models. The current Passat CC and Scirocco are both prime examples of style concepts which have made it into production, and have already proved very successful.
