This year's FECAVA EuroCongress takes place on October 2-5 in Dublin. The main programme covers an intense three days of scientific sessions covering 26 topics with 22 hours of education, while right in the heart of Dublin city centre at the new convention centre.Speakers include Lynette Freeman, who will look at core skills in laparoscopy. The primary aim of Laparoscopic surgery is to minimise invasiveness and maintain surgical precision and efficiency. This session will introduce the technique to surgeons and encourage its use. Laparoscopy and the correct equipment for its use will be described along with the intra abdominal procedures, which can now be carried out.
