Belgium - Following the seventh meeting of chief executives from 14 world leading heavy-duty vehicle and engine manufacturing companies - Caterpillar, Cummins, Daimler, Hino, Isuzu, Iveco, Mack, MAN, Mitsubishi Fuso, Navistar, Nissan Diesel, Scania, Volvo and Volkswagen - in Brussels last month, a decision was taken to deliver a united plea to policy makers in Europe, the United States and Japan to develop practical and effective fuel-efficiency measurement methods and regulations which would then be used all around the globe.
