After the decision was made to bring Lusette Martin on as the new marketing assistant, David, the clinic's chief operating officer, asked his colleague, Juan, to update the employee manual. In fact, he thought this would be a good time to expand the manual into a genuine policy book. He asked Juan because Juan headed the marketing department and handled all internal and external publications.
