State of the Industry: Client-centricity, preventive care top list of keys to growing independently of the economy

Even in the most uninhabitable deserts, it's possible to find an intrepid green plant rising from the parched soil. Similarly, some veterinary practices have achieved considerably higher-than-average growth even in an economic landscape that at timesappears bleak and barren. In fact, according to the 2013 AAHA State of the Industry, 25% of hospitals, hereafter referred to as "growers," increased their revenue by 10% or more, compared with the national average of 5.6%. This growth was achieved despite the slowly recovering economy and other industry challenges, and often regardless of hospital size or geographic location.
