The fish rich waters offshore from Port Lincoln in SA are set to become Australia's next big thing in blue water game fishing. Story by Steve Hunt. Port Lincoln is well known for its commercial tuna fishing, but it also happens to be a hot fishing destination for recreational fishos. Indeed this section of South Australia's coast has enormous fishing potential for the line dangler with countless lumps and bommies littering the sea floor both west and southwest of the beautiful city. These huge vertical precipices are loaded with big bait and jig thumping hoodlums like samson, kingfish and huge blue groper. On top of that these waters come alive during the season with endless schools of southern bluefin and skipjack tuna.
