Trace elements and water In Grisons - Report from the 7th Spring Educational and Teaching (SET) meeting of the German Working Group Trace Elements and Electrolytes (AKTE 1/2008), at Chur, Grisons, Switzerland, April, 11 -13,2008

For more than 5 years the German Working Group on Trace Elements and Electrolytes in Oncology -AKTE has been holding a special spring meeting focusing in particular aspects of education and teaching in trace element research, so called the SET meeting. The primary aim is to boost the knowledge on trace elements and electrolytes and their possible beneficial medical effects to a broader base of interest in lay and expert groups [1, 2]. This small scale specialized meeting of renowned experts of their fields will also define the future tasks of clinical elementology in Germany [3, 4].
