In early July, Volkswagen organized the second round of its regional environmental conferences in China. They took place at the automobile manufacturer's sites in Shanghai and Changchun. Representatives from the Chinese Volkswagen plants met to agree on further environmental protection goals that will ensure that not only the products of the company are as environmentally friendly as possible, but their production process is environmentally viable, too.
