This is a tale of two techs-Joe and Bill. Joe does a fairly good job, comes in late occasionally but not often. He has good tech skills, but has problems with later-model vehicles. He'll attend training courses paid for by his employer during business hours, but begs off any education held after hours."I don't have time to do that suff," he says. "I got my bowling on Monday and Thursday, poker night on Tuesday, and I work on my boat other times. And, well, a guy has to make time to have a few beers with his buddies!"
