Tenova to install a 250k tinning line at China's Jiangsu Dajiang Metal

A new 250k tonnes per year tinplate line is to be installed at China's Jiangsu Dajiang Metal by Italian plantmaker Tenova, with delivery due late next year. The electrolytic tin-plating line will be one of the world's fastest lines (700 meters/minute at entry/exit and 550 at the process section). The steel strip will be 700 -1250 mm wide and 0.15 -0.55 mm thick and the line will process all the main grades of steel for a product mix which is said to satisfy the most recent demand of the high-quality market.
