CNOOC Discovered Ten Oil and Gas Fields in 2007

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) discovered ten oil and gas fields on offshore areas like the Bohai Bay and Beibu Gulf in 2007. China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) also found the Jidong Nanpu Oilfield with a reserve of 1 billion tons in the Bohai Bay. These proved oil and gas fields boosted China's marine oil and gas industry, which had RMB 76.9 billion of added value in 2007, surging 17.3% from 2006.
