AN EQUATION RELATED TOTWO-SIDED CENTRALIZERS IN PRIME RINGS

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to prove the following result. Let m and n be positive integers, and let R be a prime ring with char (R) = 0 or m +n+1 ≤ char (R). Let T : R→ R be an additive mapping satisfying the relation T(x~(m+n+1) = x~mT(x)x~n for all x∈ R. In this case T is a two-sided centralizer.
