APS members continue to judge andpresent Science Fair Awards on behalf ofthe APS at local and regional sciencefairs for pre-college students across thenation. In 2009, 34 requests for sciencefair award packets have been received todate, already doubling the number fromlast year. The student selected to havethe best physiology-related projectreceives an APS t-shirt, an APSresearcher pin, and a certificate. Thestudent's teacher receives the APS"Women Life Scientists book and a K-12resource packet.
