LOCAL GROUPS SHIELD

The announcement of the winners of the Local Groups Shield for 1996 was made at the recent Soil Association AGM. This years winners are the Devon group. Speaking foi the judges Eric Booth said "We were looking for groups whose work provides an inspiration and example to others, groups who have supported the work of the Soil Association through recruitment, fundraising or raising awareness, new groups who have made a great start or long-established groups with a sustained history of work."
