Raw Material Prices Likely to Plunge after Reaching Peak This Year

An international commodity boom triggered by a recovery of global economy and a fast increase in demand from China is expected to reach the peak this year and then enter a correction stage within next two years. As a result of a recent poll on 11 experts in Australia, the largest supplier of raw materials in the world, it was found that they are sharing a common view that the international market prices for raw materials including iron ore, which have showed a fast increase, are expected to reach the peak this year with a possibility to see a steep fall within next two years. In order to back up such an opinion on the possible price drop, they pointed out a sharp increase in the supply of raw materials in the international market.
