International Market Price for HR on Rise

International prices for hot-rolled coils (HR) including the spot prices all over the world except China and the West Europe are increasing within narrow limits. According to a standard price list that the Steel Benchmarker released on October 8, the average international price (FOB) for HR on the global market edged up 1.6 percent to 583 US dollars in the second week of October compared with a week ago. It gained 2.0 percent in the preceding week.
