We read with interest the Review by Jacqueline Deen and colleagues1 about bloodstream infections in south and southeast Asia region. We appreciate the work done by the authors in collection of valuable data for invasive bacterial infections and their resistance patterns from a region that is especially affected by the antimicrobial resistance epidemic.
