Treating with organic varroa treatnnents

If the reports from the Waikato field day ast year are true that several beekeepers iave encountered mites resistant to Apistan, then all oeekeepers will have to look carefully at organic treatments and experiment with them to see now they work in their area under their management conditions. Organic varroa treatments are used extensively in Europe but European beekeepers have an advantage over us in that they have long brood-free winters, which makes organic control more effective.
