Objective To assess if monitoring of cerebral regional tissue oxygen saturation (crSO(2)) using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) to guide respiratory and supplemental oxygen support reduces burden of cerebral hypoxia and hyperoxia in preterm neonates during resuscitation after birth.
