SOLVABILITY OF THREE POINT BOUNDARY VALUEPROBLEMS FOR SECOND ORDER INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS OF MIXED TYPE

摘要

This paper investigates the existence of ex-treme solutions of the three point boundary value problem fora class of second order integro-differential equations of mixedtype. By using the method of upper and lower solutions andmonotone iterative technique, we establish the existence re-sults of extreme solutions. An example is also provided toillustrate the efficiency of the obtained results.
