Another view of the Men's Health 'Movement': The debate continues

In the September 2006 edition of The Journal of Men's Health and Gender, Michael Fitzpatrick writes a compelling and impassioned critique of the Men's Health Movement. While one cannot help but admire the depth of his feelings and how well he expresses himself, it is the view of this writer that his conclusions are erroneous, at least as seen from the perspective of the USA. I would like to discuss, point by point, the areas of real difference in the hopes of illuminating these issues and adding depth and breadth to the discussion.
