Dystocia Due to Fetal Giantism with Brachygnathism in a Sirohi Ewe

A rare case of fetal giantism with brachygnathism in a Sirohi ewe caused dystocia was treated by cesarean section and is reported.Fetal giantism is observed only in rare instances in domestic animals (Roberts, 1971). True fetal giantism is associated with prolonged gestation and usually results in dystocia. The literature evidences about giant fetus in small ruminants are rare. Thepresent communication records a rare case of dystocia due to fetal giantism with brachygnathism in a Sirohi doe.
